PixlR has already made its new version of the online photo editor available to users after a few months in beta version. This update has an important change throughout the editor, both of tools, such as menus, as interface design and the canvas of work.
The entire platform has been updated, removing Pixlr Pro (now all editor functions are free) and the Pixlr Market has been added, where we can subscribe with a monthly payment and download all kinds of designs. The idea was to create a complete platform that meets the needs of all users and they have suceeded.
Due to this, considering that as far as the editor is concerned it is totally free, we have moved Pixlr to the free photo editors category, and not as an editor with paid functions.
General update of the interface and canvas
Menu and editing tools updates
In this aspect we will also find important changes.
As for the menu, it has been simplified and redistributed. The effects have also been grouped in a visual window, so we can see what type of filter we are going to apply to the image.
The tools have also been improved, adding some more efficient tools and eliminating some useless ones.
The inventory of editing tools is now much clearer, and placing the mouse cursor on top of each tool will display an interactive help that will give us information about the utility of the tool.
PixlR and Pixlr X, are becoming a reference in platforms for editing photos online.
